Open Journal Systems (OJS) del Public Knowledge Project (Canadá) es, junto a ScholarOne™ de la todo poderosa Thompson Reuters (Estados Unidos), una plataforma de administración y gestión de artículos científicos, diseñada para optimizar el tiempo empleado en las tareas inherentes a los procesos de funcionamiento en una publicación periódica. Más de 5.000 revistas científicas de todo el mundo confían esta importante tarea a ambas plataformas, si bien es la americana, la que a pesar de no ser gratuita como OJS, tiene la confianza de las empresas más prestigiosas de este mundo editorial (Taylor & Francis, Sage Publications, Nature Publishing Group, American Association for the Advancement of Science, y otras).

Abstract
Open Journal Systems (OJS) of the Public Knowledge Project (Canada) is, along with ScholarOne ™ of all powerful Thompson Reuters (USA), a platform of scientific journals management systems, designed to optimize the time spent on the tasks inherent the journal’s revision processes. More than 5,000 scientific journals around the world trust this important task to both platforms, although the American, which despite not being free as OJS, has the confidence of the most prestigious publishing companies in the world (Taylor & Francis, Sage Publications, Nature Publishing Group, American Association for the Advancement of Science, and others).
