Percepción de calidad, impacto sociocultural, imagen de destino e intenciones futuras del turista participante en un evento náutico sostenible

Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar la estructura factorial de una escala de percepción turística en un evento de pequeña escala, además de evaluar las posibles diferencias de percepción entre el turista nacional y extranjero participantes en un evento náutico. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 115 turistas participantes, un 69,6% fue turista internacional y un 30.4% turista nacional. Se utilizó una adaptación de dos cuestionarios sobre calidad en eventos deportivos e impacto turístico en eventos deportivos, compuesto por 16 ítems en cuatro factores (calidad percibida, percepción sociocultural, imagen de destino e intenciones futuras). Se realizó un Análisis Factorial Confirmatorio y una prueba t para muestras independientes. Los resultados de este estudio presentaron una herramienta válida y fiable para medir la percepción turística de un evento deportivo de pequeña escala. La percepción sociocultural fue la dimensión mejor valorada por los turistas. Los turistas extranjeros tuvieron una mejor percepción que el turista nacional en la percepción sociocultural, la imagen de destino y las intenciones futuras. Estos datos permiten a los organizadores de eventos deportivos segmentar a su público objetivo y elaborar diferentes estrategias en función de las características de sus participantes.
