Resumen

The potential of physical activity and sport for children and young people has been extensively researched, but we
need to make an effort to analyse the current situation in the attention to diversity. This literature review analyses
22 scientific papers published in the last decade using the PRISMA method. The results allow us to analyse the
identification, methodological and content variables and to conclude that all the interventions carried out produced
different types of benefits: physical, emotional, cognitive, social, health and also in the development of values. In
addition, there were also benefits in terms of students’ attitudes towards inclusion. Analysis of these results will
be key to designing future interventions based on scientific evidence. We must not forget that Physical Education is a
subject for all students and everyone has the right to be there, to participate and to learn.
