El fútbol y sus posibilidades socio-educativas. (Soccer and its educational and social possibilities)

El principal objetivo de este artículo es investigar las relaciones existentes entre fútbol y educación, partiendo del principio estipulado por la Organización de Naciones Unidas / UNESCO para el año 2005, esto es, valorar el deporte y la Educación Física como elementos de un proyecto de promoción, integración, reeducación y paz social. Por ello, hicimos un inventario de las experiencias exitosas, en el ámbito de la Pedagogía del Deporte, particularmente de los programas educativos involucrados en el fútbol, en diversos países, con diferentes realidades sociales y económicas.

Abstract
The main goal of this article is to investigate the relations between soccer and education, taking the 2005 United Nations /UNESCO premise - the valorization of sport and Physical Education as elements of promotion, integration, reeducation and social peace - as a starting point. In order to do so, we have done a survey about the well-succeeded experiences in the scope of Pedagogy of Sport, particulary about educational programs that use soccer, in various countries with different social and economic realities.
